SwiftMo Power & Fitcoin: A White Paper

Share

Abstract

Health and fitness, as well preventative healthcare are seemingly willfully ignored both as population wide health interventions, but also the indirect contribution they make to economic output through increased mental and physical accuity, as well as eventual saving in healthcare. SwiftMo Power captures this data using commonly available hardware (phone camera, imu, GPS coming later) and Fitcoin leverages this data to reward users for meaningful physical work, creating a self-regulating system that motivates sustained physical improvement and data contributions.

The current systems of wealth equivalence such as digital and non-digital fungible assets and FIAT currency fail to capture higher order aspects of wealth to the detriment of entire systems. That is, a financial balance sheet is blind to many aspect in the chain of wealth creation that carry a cost. A simple example is the person working 997 (nine AM till nine PM, 7 days a week) will be poor in mental capacity for lack or rest and poor in fitness for lack of training, as well as poor in till because it's all invested in their job. Their reward will be purely financial. However this perspective also applies to macro aspects such as environmental harms induced for the sake of a balance sheet gain.

Fitcoin aims to provide a measure of the fitness aspect of personal wealth beginning with strength and power training.

1. Introduction

The convergence of ever more powerful phones, embeddable sensors, AI inference, and blockchain-based tokenomics opens up a new frontier: proof-of-physical-work. While most fitness platforms track activity, SwiftMo goes deeper — measuring power output, movement quality, and neuromuscular effort with enough fidelity to support data-driven training guidance and eventually economic incentives.

This white paper outlines:

  • The SwiftMo Power metric: how it's derived and why it matters.
  • The Fitcoin token: its role, supply model, and usage.
  • A fitness "AI" that adapts, rewards, and evolves with the user.

2. SwiftMo Power

2.1 What is SwiftMo Power?

SwiftMo Power is a normalized, real-time measurement of mechanical effort, derived from visual data captured by a user’s device. It estimates velocity, displacement, and mass, integrating them to estimate power (Watts). The models account for:

  • Body segment kinematics (e.g., limb velocity, angle),
  • Joint torque estimations,
  • Repetition timing and pacing,
  • Eccentric, concentric, and isometric phases.

A complimentary Energy Deficit Fatigue Index accounts for higher force movements that might be difficult for biological and biomechanical reasons, but low power.

2.2 Why Power?

Power is a more objective and actionable metric than steps or reps. It reflects intensity, fatigue, and recovery needs, forming the backbone for:

  • Adaptive training guidance,
  • Effort-based rewards (Fitcoin),
  • Physiological modeling (e.g., ATP-PC decay, lactate thresholds),
  • Provides an objective measure of exercise quality.

3. Fitcoin

3.1 What is Fitcoin?

Fitcoin is a cryptographic, utility-driven token based on the Stellar network. Stellar has the backing of large groups like Stripe and VISA and is the system underpinning the Ukraine Central Bank Digital currency (among others). Fitcoin will be redeemable initially via training items, swag and in app perks.

The system avoids pure gamification and instead emphasizes:

  • Consistency (effort over days/weeks),
  • Work (work in Joules, not tied to capacity).

Fitcon will be extended to favour relative gains over absolute capacity via (see 3.3).

3.2 Token Distribution

  • Earned: Currently users earn Fitcoin based on SwiftMo Power scores, currently focused on work (J) and assiduousness.
  • Staking & Utility: Fitcoins can be staked to unlock coaching insights, AI training sessions, swag, hardware discounts or entry into performance challenges.

3.3 Fairness Model

  • Fitcoin earnings will be adjusted for age, gender, and capacity, avoiding bias toward high-performers only.
  • Inference will be rerun to test unusual payouts.

4. System Architecture

4.1 Data Flow

  1. Capture: Device captures motion via PWA (no install needed).
  2. Sync: Server sync for all data in realtime, for validation, persistence and training AI.
  3. Infer: On-device model evaluates basic aspects of movement in real time.
  4. Score: SwiftMo Power is computed and logged.
  5. Reward: Fitcoins are minted to the user’s wallet.

4.2 AI Feedback Loop

  • AI monitors fatigue (power loss), pacing, recovery.
  • Suggests load adjustments and rest intervals.
  • Enables “Coach Tom” to deliver personalized, evolving plans.

5. Use Cases

  • Athletes: Real-time monitoring and reward system for high-intensity efforts.
  • Rehabilitation: Track and reward recovery progress using low-load metrics.
  • General Users: Motivation via tangible, value-backed incentives.

6. Roadmap

PhaseMilestone
Q2 2026MVP release with SwiftMo inference + Fitcoin accumulation
Q3 2026Fitcoin staking, decay system, reward redemption UI, basic rewards.
Q4 2026Basic hardware integration
Q1 2027 Dynamic hardware development

7. Conclusion

SwiftMo Power redefines physical work for the digital age, providing a granular, physiological view of effort. Fitcoin aligns incentives with progress — turning real-world strain into measurable, meaningful value. Together, they unlock a new fitness economy based not on vanity metrics, but verified effort and self-improvement.
